Practice Starts at Barassie

Practice for the Boys' Amateur Championship at 7 o'clock on Sunday morning, under the sunny warm sky at Kilmarnock Barassie Golf Club. All the hard work put in by the Championship Committee and the Greenkeeping staff, under the expert guidance of Brain Findlayson, was warmly rewarded by the competitors and visitors alike.

Everyone is eagerly awaiting the start of the Championship proper, when these future golfing superstars will test their skills against the demands of this glorious links course.
